The Chill Core 500 is the step up for colder water and warmer climates. The supplier rates it at 1/2HP with 1200W of cooling capacity, double the Chill Core 300, for up to 500 litres, and says it lowers water to about 4–9°C (39–49°F), depending on whether it's used indoors or outdoors.
The supplier positions it for athletes and for hotter climates (above 25°C), with faster cooling that cuts preparation time and a steady temperature once it gets there. User-friendly controls adjust the temperature, and it's described as low-noise and portable.
Rated for up to 500 litres, it covers the Plunge 320's 380-litre-plus volume. It runs on 220V/50Hz, measures 33.5 × 37 × 33.5cm and weighs 28kg gross.
