Description
Hands and feet are where a cold plunge hurts first — they have the highest surface-to-volume ratio and the least insulation, so they hit their limit minutes before your core does. A 3mm neoprene layer over both is the single most effective way to extend your time in the water.
The set includes glued-and-blind-stitched neoprene socks and five-finger gloves, the same construction used in winter surf gear. They trap a thin layer of water that your body warms, taking the sting out of sub-10°C water without meaningfully blunting the systemic cold exposure your torso gets.
Especially worth it from October to March, when outdoor tub temperatures drop low enough that bare extremities become the limiting factor for most people.
